RAF PTI Graduation Awards

Best Practical Student This award is sponseored by the Association and is presented to the student who, over the duration of the Physical Training Instructors course has produced excellence in Instructional techniques, Sporting Ability and Physical Fitness and includes membership of the Association.

Best Overall Student The award for best student overall is presented to the student who, throughout the Physical Training Instructor Course has shown outstanding excellence in all elements.

The Mark Farrington Trophy Mark was a highly respected PTI who showed exceptional personal qualities and an infectious zest for life, his ability to inspire the very best in teams and individuals was at the heart of his being an inspirational individual, who is sorely missed.

The Mark Farrington Trophy is awarded to the student on each graduating PTI course who, in the opinion of the course members, has shown character, confidence, trust, respect, individuality, high professional standards and esprit-de-corps throughout training.

Most Endeavour The award for most endeavour is awarded by the Staff Instructors on the School of Physical Training. It is awarded to the student who has shown the most exertion and effort in all aspects of the Physical Training Instructors Course in striving for excellence.
