The Award is given in recognition and appreciation of significant dedication, special contribution or valuable service to the Association.
The presentation of the award is usually made annually at the Reunion Dinner, the award was originally set up by Warrant Officer Clive Martland.
The eligibility for the award is for those who are either currently serving or retired members of the Physical Training Instructors’ Association.
